* MOAA was honored to serve as the 2015 host organization of the Veterans Day National Committee and participate in the annual Veterans Day National Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
* MOAA president, Vice Adm. Norbert R. Ryan Jr., USN (Ret), joined our nation’s president, the secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, other senior officials, and members of the VDNC at the Presidential Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony, conducted by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
* MOAA sincerely appreciates the efforts of our network of state councils and more than 400 affiliate chapters who actively embody the concept of lifetime service at the national, state and community levels. Our sincerest thanks to the all the council and chapter leaders who attended the Veterans Day ceremony and MOAA-hosted reception at the Women in Military Service for America Memorial. Our guests were warmly welcomed and expressed deep appreciation for MOAA’s hospitality and leadership. Special thanks to the Northern Virginia Chapter for their outstanding presentation of the colors and the Mount Vernon Chapter for the professional laying of the wreath.
B* MOAA's council and chapter leaders are truly our greatest ambassadors who inspire us every day with selfless service and sacrifice. Thanks again for your commitment to Never Stop Serving!
