* The Biennial Convention of the North Carolina Council of Chapters which also served as the 4th Quarter Meeting for the Council was held at MCAS Cherry Point, NC.

* The Saturday evening dinner that was held at Miller's Landing aboard the station featured guest speaker Lt Gen Dana Atkins, USAF (Ret.) (shown above right).

* At the regular meeting held on Saturday morning, MOAA's Program Director, Council & Chapter Affairs, Capt Erin Stone, JAGC, USN (Ret) (shown below right receiving a Council token of appreciation from CAPT David Lee) also addressed the Council.
